Design is… when you say pink instead of magenta.

I am a Berlin based freelance graphic designer. I work directly with companies/clients, develop projects with my network of other freelancers and agencies in Berlin, in Germany and now even in Europe. Design is not fixed on a location – if I work with non-Berlin clients, I just communicate via phone, email, zoom, teams, slack or else. In order to get to know each other, it can be helpful to meet in person. That I will do, if you have good coffee in your office. Black coffee, no sugar or milk.

My design background is in print design, but I added digital skills during my scholarship in London and my first co-working space (4 years of closely working together with front- and backend-developers). This add-on to my know-how gives me the ability to create well rounded projects that are not limited to the analogue print design. For example, I illustrate an icon-set for an annual report and it should be integrated as a pixel-perfect optimized version on a website or an app.

My designs are a mixture between hard work, years of experience and a passion for aesthetics. My main focus is corporate publishing, infographics, graphic design and outline icons illustration. In addition to my Abobe and Sketch based software skills, I also work with MS Powerpoint to create pitches or master template for my clients. In all fairness, even if it is no match to Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign, the small Microsoft presentation hero might surprise you.

I don’t strive ”off-the-shelf-layouts“, but a design which fits precisely the client / target group needs. Therefore, I’m always glad to receive as many as project related information as possible. Are there any design guidelines, a vague or even a detailed idea? Even a small project deserves a good basis.
